Engineering student, going to move to the coast once I graduate but for now living with family to save money and brain cells. Did te whole room mates thing for a while and it's definitely not for me. Other nerds think I'm funny but plenty of normal people think I'm just weird and sometimes awkward. Selectively extroverted--around other nerds I talk plenty but I don't like to dominate a conversation so, if i don't have anything to add I simply won't add in. I'm a good listener. But sometimes I interrupt because that's what texting has done to me! When you're texting you can simultaneously listen and reply to whatever's being said, sort of multitask, but it doesn't work that way in real life....a habit I'm workin on.
I used to write poetry and paint and hike and work out a lot more, but these days it's hard to even find time for leisure reading with my school and work schedule. That will change soon enough

No pressure here--I know I want a relationship in the long run but I'm also not usually comfortable just jumping right into one. I like to be friends for a month or two first before considering anything more--maybe I'm a bit old fashioned? But someone who, we feel comfortable being completely ourselves with each other. Being in each other's company is refreshing and there's plenty of laughter but even silence is comfortable and can be serious if it's needed.
